It's hard/tough/difficult to say for sure if Swamp Thing is just a stressed/burnt-out/exhausted employee, but there are some telling/strong/clear signs. He's always moody/grumpy/cranky, he complains about his terrible/awful/dreadful commute, and he seems to take/have/feel a lot of pressure/strain/anxiety. And let's not forget those endless/never-ending/seemingly unending paperwork piles/mountains/stacks. Maybe all he really needs is a good vacation to the beach/lake/mountain top.
